P/S 890 MIL-S-8802 P/S 890 Class A is an aircraft fuel tank sealant. It has a 250°F service temperature range from -54°C to 121°C and has intermittent excursions up to 135°C (275°F). This material is for fuel tanks and other aircraft fuselge sealing applications and tile sealing. The cured sealant retains excellent elastomeric properties after extended exposure to both jet fuel and aviation gas P/S 890 Grade A is a two-part, manganese dioxide cured polysulfide compound. Uncured material is suitable for service application up to 25 mil thickness. The chamber cures to form a flexible sealant with excellent adhesion to common aircraft substrates.
